Why what, anonymous? Why join LLL? Oh, maybe because I feel like I should be an established advocate for breastfeeding, since it looks like I'll be nursing Greta till she leaves for college.
Indeed anonymous, why what? First of all you should know that by choosing to remain anonymous I automatically assume you suck, so you're starting at a deficit here.
With that out of the way, perhaps you should try to be more clear. Maybe you don't know what the La Leche League is? Try google. I hear they have that on the internets now. Or maybe you know what the La Leche League is and you don't like it? Piss off. They don't like you either.
LOL drama! :) At least it's online and not in a letter. That still creeps me out! Do you go to LLL? I go here-it's nice to have the support! :) I'm sure half of LLL in Laf. would be St. B people anyway... haha
Elisabeth- I've never been to a meeting, just have a well-worn copy of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding! Are you finding a good community down there? I can't believe Xavier is 1!
I smiled when I read this! For some reason I have never been able to produce enough milk to allow my children to gain weight. (and yes, I did attend LLL meetings and have done all the tricks to make it come in)
I would love to be able to nurse my wee little ones for as long as they wanted and I think it is awesome that you are still nursing!
