The Sweet and Sour of the Stay-At-Home Life
Hello! I am a blog friend of Anne's and I read some of your posts. My kiddo has a milk protein allergy too - we found out when she was about 6 weeks old and she is going to be 1 in 3 weeks!!! So it's been a LONG time since I've had milk. Here's what I like:I drink Iced soy chai all the time, we also use rice milk for cooking. The tofutti ice cream sandwiches. The "Better Than Cream Cheese." I have a TON of recipes for all kinds of stuff with no milk, if you need anything. If you're craving chocolate, try this:http://babypack.blogspot.com/2008/01/awesome-milk-free-pudding.htmlSeriously, I have probably made it 10 times in a month :)Oh, and I also have a Hooter Hider for nursing in public. It was weird the first few times but I got used to it. Of course, now my kid thinks it's funny to try to pull it off mid-meal.... She's gonna be trouble.
